i've nothing much to do today..that's my routine job here..sumtym im too bz handling urgent tasks..cant even having time for opening email, the shud do things daily.

what did i do till 5 is yaaa...as usual la facebook, email, fertilityfriend, berita harian.
Oh ya, i just came back from having lunch with my former colleagues. Long time didnt see..

Last nite my hubby was night duty. That's mean i was alone lah..His last night duty turn was during hari raya last year. Tak sabar rasanya for tommorow..Yeyeaa our pay day!
31st march pla i was informed gonna be their bonus pay day..Yeyea,...

Fri nite i wil go back to sabah..mo tengo mamang. i really hope my appearance can give him courage and spirit to fight his illness. In the name of Jesus, im surely believe he can recover. Lots of UTM staff suffered same condition but i think his condition is much better then other eventhough they are much younger than mamang.

Setia Eco Garden Area

Basically, Setia or so-called Kesas Kenangan is quite well-known developer in Malaysia. As i know, there were series luxury houses developed by the developer in KL area such as Setia Hill and Setia Sky Residents. Setia Eco Garden is continuation to the concept of Setia Eco Park.
In Johor, Setia has rapidly developed exclusive and unique houses in JB area such as Setia Tropica, Bukit Indah and latest one is Setia Eco Garden..

Setia has won an award for the best Master Plan 2008 for Eco Garden. Few patterns of double storey houses and single storey were developed at this early phase. Later on, mmmm banglo besar2 oooo...cost of million mayb. Ada kolam renang lagi kat bawah..mcm yg slalu nampak dlm tv rumah mewah2 tu..

Anyway, thank God for giving me the opportunity of being part of the residence here. My friend said, only rich people can stay there. But we are not kaya. Why still can buy a property there. Because my God is kaya dengan kasih! All these are anugerah from Him.

Today goes amazingly..

First of all, i thank God for everything that has happened into my life, despite my time was fully loaded with lots of work in my office today till finally back home and doing the housewife job.
Early morning i received a call from bank informing me that my BPA form was missing with my signature. Then, i have to complete some works in 2 labs simultaneously which are the food analysis lab and HPLC lab. At the same time, my responsibility is to develop a proposal for MOA grant application. Sharp at 11am, my Dr called for a meeting and it was done for 2 hours. I really didnt realize how the time goes today.

1 thing that i really really and really happy was after receiving the good news from my father regarding to the land that my hubby's going to buy. The price is RM57ooo only for 10.7 acres where it was initially cost of RM69500. I dunno how it comes but for sure it was because of my father initiative. It's truely meaningful to me since it succesfully rejuvenates my hubby's trust to my family. Segala pujian dan ucapan syukur hanya bagiMu Tuhan!

Finally, my hubby's ambition to buy a land is almost achieved. Everyday he opened up the 'mudah.my' website to find suitable land there. He would like to plant the land with Rubber tree. And i heard that the land that we are going to buy might be included under 'kelompok' or goverment scheme for Rubber plantation. It means we only have to wait another 5-7 years to harvest the income without having to think about costing for cleaning, planting, monitoring and any other related costs.

After back home, i was rushing in preparing meals for dinner. I love masakan kampung. Last few days i have bought 'labu' and thus today, i made a decision to cook it. Mmmm...it might be not my' hubby's taste eventhough he himself is 100% born and 'membesar' in kampung environment..Huuuuu i rindu my mom's cook on jantung pisang masak lemak, also the papaya, nangka and the labu.

Ohooo...my laundry is awaiting as well!!! Ok dear..im coming :D

Activities on Cuti Deepavali

Napa lah cuti deepavali ni jatuh pada hari sabtu?? why not on sunday so that monday will be a holiday..mmm tak pa lah..

By the way, im so happy today becos my hubby pun cuti. After spending almost all the day for sleeping, i saw my hubby look so 'cergas'. And the most important thing is he willing to accompany me to go shopping at jusco bukit indah. At first, we went at the 2ndlevel and surveyed the home furnitures there. Next year we are going to move to our newly-bought house at Setia Eco Garden. Then my hubby said it might take cost about rm30k tu fullfill the house with furnitures..whatever lah bit..you are the one who preparing the money and my responsibility will be in decorating our 'SOTIRA home sweet home' :D.

Ohoooo...we sempat juga main game..racing kreta tu..but me dunno how to play. hentam ja lah..as a result, after a short while then the game was over hahahha..

We thereafter took our dinner at the ground floor food court so called Arena. Then, i went to the 1st floor for shopping baju while he requested to wait for me outside the premis. I understand he tak larat go round2 with me. Let him take a rest there. You all tak tau my habit during shopping..masuk sana masuk sini..belek itu belek ini..try few clothes but only buy 1 or mostly didnt buy anything. But i think most woman are like that kan heheh..It took about 1 hour for me to evaluate the clothes there and only 1 seluar pendek yang berjaya menarik perhatian me huhuhu..its price was RM69.

Me dah takut hubby would angry due to long time waiting. After paying the parking coupon, i was running to fetch him in the car. Luckily dia tak marah pun. He was under good mood today. Thanks Lord for that :D. He frequently getting angry due to my lateness in buying things. That's why im prefer to go alone but today he himself offered to accompany me. Rajin pla dia. Mayb dah cukup rest kot arini :D.

At 9, im lonely again becos he went for futsal. No wonder lah he ponteng main bola petang tadi. So, it's the time to melipat kain yang dah bertimbun tu..That's all our activities on Deepavali holiday today. Yang penting..we have spent much time being together today. I love it so much..

Feel so lonely

Today is my hubby's turn to work overnite to monitor/supervise the bangla-workers who are working at night shift. Im feel so lonely as he seldomly have to work at night. He told me every engineer will get their turn once for every 3-4 months. I dunno what to do but surfing. I have taken my dinner at 7 just now. Then im pushing myself to surf internet and hearing True Worshipers song, viewing my frens' fb photos till finally i met 1 of my fren profile consists her blogspot. It has attracted me to go tru the blog. Huuuu...very interesting story. She dedicated her blogspot entirely for her family's story including her newly born baby. That's a good blogspot as she shared with us her experiences undergo pregnancy, delivery the baby, breastfeeding and taking care her baby. It seems encouraging me to have my own baby sooner.

Im waiting for the call from hubby before started to update my blog. Then suddenly my phone ringing. Even only a short conversation with him but it was trully meaningful to me. I've set in my mind to go back home during lunch hour 2moro..Will go out as early as 12pm and return back at 3pm. After a while, i decided to take 2 hours leave tomorrow so that i dun have to return back to utm again. My such planning is just to fullfill my desire to spend longer time with my hubby since the time for us together is very limited even though we're staying together.

Our routine life schedule is wake in the morning at 5.30 while me wait until 6.50 and wait for a series alarm snoozing before getting up myself readi. Ya honestly it is very hard to get up in the morning Huhuh...Salute my hubby for being such strong enough to go for work in the dark of morning everyday (mon-sat).

Meanwhile in the evening, my hubby will reach home at 5pm earlier than me for about half an hour. His daily activity is playing football at the nearest field and sometimes cant even wait till im back. Deep from my heart i not really like he spend much times for football. But as he never stop me for shopping, i think i should accept the fact that football is part of his life since he plays football started from his childhood. He only be available at home around 8pm. So guys just imagine how much time left for us together in a day after working and fullfiling his hobby? 10pm we will readi for sleeping again. I always asked for holiday eventhough i knew would receive the same answer "nanti2 or tiada masa". How pain my heart is whenever listening that sort of respond. We cant even having the opportunity for honeymoon yet.

NOw i believe MONEY is not for everything..Life should balance with a happy family as well. From the religious sight of view, mengumpul harta duniawi is not the entity of Cristianity. Carilah wajah Tuhan yang sebenar. Be consistent and have faith on Jesus Christ. To me, our curent life is trully complete. Doesnt have to work harder, buying much assets and so on because GOD has prepared everything for us in future.

Pagi tadi, b4 he went out for working, he came to me and wished "Happy birthday" and gave a kiss on me..Waktu tu me tengah mamai2..between sleeping and sedar oledi..Thanks dear..I know, that's the way he expresses his love to me even though i trully know he is not the one yg suka ckp jiwang2..Yang tu pun dah cukup menggembirakan saya..Tonight tak tau lah ada makan special ke tak..entah2 me kena masak ke mcm mana..tu me dunno lah..hehehe

Syukur kepada Tuhan atas Anugerah kehidupan yang diberikan kepada ku. Dah genap 26 tahun aku berada di bumi ciptaan-NYA. Setiap hari aku diberikan nafas baru untuk menjalani kehidupan sbg seorang anak, , pelajar, kawan, dan kini sbg seorg isteri dan pekerja.

Bapa di syurga, pada pagi ini (sblm aku memulakan pekerjaan) aku mahu mengucap syukur di atas segala rencana dan pekerjaan-MU di dalam kehidupan ku. Benar Tuhan, pada mulanya aku lahir dari keluarga yang tidak mengenal Engkau. Tapi kerana kasihMU, aku dan seluruh adik beradik ku telah diselamatkan dan ibu bapa kami juga kini dalam proses untuk menerima Engkau sebagai Juruselamat.

Kini, aku telah pun berkahwin dan punya kerjaya yang mmg sesuai dgn peribadi ku. Dalam usia semuda ini, kehidupan ku dah sempurna..segalanya aku dah ada baik kereta rumah mahupun career..Hanya 1 yg aku tgh tunggu..My own generation :-) Aku juga berupaya membantu org lain yg memerlukan ker'na aku tahu Tuhan, Engkau telah menurunkan berkat ke atas ku agar aku dapat membantu saudara2 seiman yang lain yang memerlukan. Huuuuu...agak penat me kerja akhir2 ni..
Tak menang tangan wt keja..kena buat proposal untuk apply grant from MOA (perah otak fren), then doing sample analysis in the lab..involve in development of product lagi..These 2 months i've to take over my fren's work who is currently under maternity leave.But it's ok.keja itu 1 ibadah juga.Gaining knowledge along the way..Good for me actually. People may not see my efforts at this moment but i believe 1 day they gonna appreciate it!

Be strong Mailin..take it as a CHALLENGE, not as a BURDEN! have fun on your works and do it with your sincere heart and work passionately..Tuhan pasti akan menyediakan yang terbaik bagimu. Amen.

My works at CEPP (27.04.2009 - Present)

27 April 2009 me melaporkan diri dengan Penolong Pendaftar, Chemical Engineering Pilot Plant sbb dlm offer letter yg dikeluarkan oleh pihak pendaftar UTM, i've to melapor diri directly to jabatan di mana saya ditempatkan.. Supposed to be here in Mac but my bos wanted me to stay longer and finish up all remaining research works.

1st day coming tu mmm..skema n macam orang bodoh je.sopan and nicely greeting everybody. First few days memang takda kerja..in addition, all staff went to desaru for bengkel kecemerlangan staf..me tak dapat join sebab dah lambat masuk kunun..terkebil kebil lah aku sorang2 di cepp waktu tu..jadi operator.tukang angkat call yang mcm pisang goreng panas tu

After short meeting with Pengarah R&D, he decided to assign me under SBU analysis..
Mula2 aku mcm tak setuju sbb me are coming from microb people..Why not just assign me in fermentation or EM SBU..but now i really appreciated his decision.walaupun seems like hard for me to have my own research at this unit, but i've the opportunity to use complex equipment such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS and few other instruments..

ANd start from September, me and another RO were placed to be food analysis lab to take over for a while during our fren's maternity leave..im almost competent to carry out some food analysis such as protein, ash, moisture and currently in a struggle efforts competent myself for crube fiber..sgt mencabar but it's good for me..kami dah berjaya running the newly bought fiberterm and vapodest instrument..the supplier said fiberterm tu sama harga pesona and vapodest might be civic..imagine how expensive the equipments are!

Thanks to God for colouring my life with such nice experience in my career :-)

The wedding gift that he personally gave to me were a beautiful white gold neclace with a diamond pendant and diamond earing..Juga bracelet bersadur white gold..huhu bertuahnya badan..meh aku nak kawen lg skali supaya dapat byk barang perhiasan hohoho (just a joke!)

Will keep it till the end of my life..greatly valuable.Wedding gift, only once in my life..

Experience on Research Exhibitions

I had actively involved in many research exhibition during working with CREG.. Mula2 masuk tu my prof asked me to join rmc utk particpate dlm Pameran PECIPTA di klcc. At this time, i went as a visitor..suka2 ja lah..amik gambar..excited sbb kuar dr jb area huhu.. If not mistaken, 1st exhibition yg i pernah attend as exhibitor was organized by chemical eng students from fkkksa..then chemical engineering carnival held in DSI UTM..at the moment, we just took a participation to suppport the program. Yang bertandingnya budak2 secondary school..hmm hebat2 juga budak2 ni..some had done a good research..budak2 mrsm, asrama penuh..teringat kat my adik yg suka join pertandingan robotik, wt roket dll..

Im quite lucky for being with prof nasa..she likes to join exhibition.that's one of the way of rising up her name in utm. dulu ngn bos master, he likes to expose me to join conference..buat pembentangan at that kind of event.Both are good for me actually. INATEX 2008..organized by rmc during utm convocation.was held at pesta convo.seronok jugalah.walaupun sgt2 bz for preparation..ye lah..dah berhempas2 pulas in the lab, doing experiment and interprete data. Now, the moment to share your achievements to others..We got Silver ja. Apapun, syukur la..at least tidak la sia2 kami bekerja kuat.

Due to the Silver Award, then we managed to get involve in MTE..conducted at pwtc kl. Kami stay di pan pac hotel..4 days altogether kami berkampung di kl..penat tapi seronok..exposed myself to outside.tried my best to answer all questions from visitors..Macam2 karenah visitors.Some were sincerely asking bout our product.I mean they were really want to know bout our research.While some b'tanya seems like nak kenakan kita ja or nak tau sejauh mana kita tau ttg research. And definitely some nak compare ngn product or research dia..Me pla, suka tnya2 to other exhibitors (bila ada masa i gi jalan2 to other booth) with the hope i would gain some knowledge for my coming research hahaha.

Kagum sungguh ngan my bos during the evaluation day..huuu bila agaknya me jadi mcm her..

Yeaaa..we won again..event though dpt Silver again but at least it has opened my eyes on the real research world. Mmm..kalau dapat gold kan best..leh gi Geneva pla.

Here at CEPP, mcm takda chance ja gi mana2 exhibition. Moreover, i was assigned to be in analysis lab..memang lah one day i can be the one who expert in hplc n gc..it's ok.Pasti Tuhan punya rencana menempatkan saya di sini.

Im not really remember when Aidid and geng from tv3 came for shooting in our lab.
Mmm...me jadi pelakon wt research huhu..untuk iskandar malaysia kunun..i was informed that only selected labs in utm yang terlibat utk shooting ni..i think the most productive one lah yg been selected for that.

My 1st job right after graduated was in Chemical Reaction Engineering Group (CREG) UTM as a Research Officer..JUst At the opposite building of my previous lab during doing my Master study. Thanks to Prof Dr Nor Aishah for giving me the oppotunity to work under her project, funded by MOSTI..Quite challenging jg lah work with her..very perfectionist and strict lecturer..

Research yg kami buat tu tentang oil production from empty palm fruit bunch (tandan kelapa sawit)..sesak nafas jg me dibuatnya bcos im from biology background suddenly working with chemical engineer..hmmm jadi chemist pla..

Macam2 i buat..started from amik sample from FELDA Bukit Besar Kulai..Pastu grind pla sample sehalus mungkin..increase reaction surface area lah katakan..Then, bila dapat result, tulis papers and masuk exhibition either pameran besa or pertandingan.. LOt of experience jugalah me dapat kerja ngan CREG ni.Prosiding papers lbh kurang 5 if not mistaken (national and international), paper for journal -2 (impact factor 3.151 at 2008, currently 4 somethin la hoho), pameran pkat fakulti n UTM..plg besar INATEX UTM and MTE KL..seronok bila menang hehe.

Here we had studied…
Here we had spent much times of our teenager’s life…
Here we had met each other, became a friend and finally being fell in love…
And most importantly, here i started my career!

My hubby came to jb on mei 1999 (if not mistaken) and fighting for the course of B.Eng Mechanical (Aeronautic). 1 of the killer course in UTM actually..Suprisingly, his bestfren@coursemate@housemate@roomate was actually my friend's brother during my secondary school. Mmm..what a small world! 2 years later (Mei 2001 lah) was gonna be my turn to fly here and struggling to get my B.Sc Industrial Biology degree.

UHuuuu...mengimbau kenangan lama..He started to approach me from the 1st sem i were here. Finally after giving his struggle efforts on me, then we managed to tie up our relation as a loving couple on 11 June 2002.

STudying together in PSZ, wishing the best of luck whenever attending exam, having an appointment for lunch or dinner, ronda2 with his TZM WDR 6014, sharing expenditure when 1 of us in the middle of bankruptcy.....all those are our sweet memories here :-)

Then, he was graduated on Aug 2004 with another 1 extra sem for Indutrial Practical. The moment that he supposed to attend his practical (in UTM) was coincidence with his sista's wedding. His parents and a friend (UTM student as well..his junior in their fomer school) including me were there for celebrating his success.

Then finally....mine was held on Aug 2005 without the attendance of any family member. Quite sad ooo..nobody was there for celebrating together my big day. Only him be with me, congratulate me by giving me the fresh roses..Thanx Bit..Luv u so much :-)

Me dapat Anugerah Dekan tau..that's why dapat medal huhuuuu...Medal tu was given by the Dean during an official ceremony at faculty, a day before the convocation.

Ya..sememangnya sudah rencana Tuhan for us to further study together. He still loyal to be with his faculty (FKM) while me climbing up to the FKKKSA for M.Sc Bioprocess. But he took a decision to change his course to M.ENg Mecanical Marine..No longer aeronautic lehh..He did mention to me "kalau boleh 1 day saya mau ambik course automotif pla supaya saya bole blajar all 3 fields in transportation - kapal terbang, kapal laut dan kenderaan darat" Mmm..whatever la Bit as long as you mampu. During the study, i took full time research while him took the taught course..Me ni antara orang yang quite fast doing research bcos can complete lab works within 3 sem.At the moment, my life was on the lab only....Bit pula tak bole speed up sbb his lecturer didnt allow him to take much credits in every sem. Ya i understand that becos he confront with a tough course.

Aug 2007..yeahh akhirnya both of us were graduated. Yg besnya, konvo pada hari yg sama and in the same session. So, my fam and his fam came together into the DSI hall for witnessing our covocation. wow..God Timing is so wonderful! Here are the pics taken during our Master Convo.

Oh ya..lupa nak bagitau. During my 1st sem of my master study and BIt on the 3rd, kami telah pun bertunang. Of course i still remember the day "10 Dec 2005". A Simple majlis yang hanya dihadari oleh sanak saudara terdekat from both parties. We made the perjanjian to get married 3 years later..After dah habis study..Guys, see lah later whether kami boleh kotakan janji atau tidak!

01 June 2007, Bit managed to get a job in a well-known shipyard company in Kota Singapura (org Indon kata) as an Engineer. 2 months before our convocation.

Till now, Bit still with his job..sayang mau tinggal itu SingDollar with 7-8 months yearly bonus. Manyak duit tapi tention..have to give high commitment on works. Very stressfull.Dun haf much time for cuti2 msia or even for balik kampung..(Aiyaaa...thinking positively la sayang..mana da keja yg tiada pressure)..

Me pla started a job in UTM as a Research Officer on 01 Aug 2007 in CREG FKKKSA, UTM. Alahh my former faculty la..Hapi sgt sbb bulan tu kami konvo jg:-) Cumanya keja i ni contract ja..have to renew every 6 or 12 months. Gaji pun bergantung pada budi bicara bos. Tapi syukur jg la sbb walaupun gaji tak ikut taraf master, tapi still lebih tinggi berbanding others. Almost 3k jg hehe..Berkat Tuhan! At the mean time, i never give up to find other job yg tetap lah kalau boleh.

Then finally, 27 April 2009 me diminta oleh bahagian HCM UTM untuk melapor diri di CEPP as a Research Officer status TETAP..yes! now i become UTM Staf oredi. But, jauh di sudut hati, i sedih sbb my target is lecturer di ums sbnarnya..berkali kali dah HR UMS called for interview tapi me tak dapat pegi atas beberapa alasan..But i still keep in mind hopefully 1 day, saya dapat phd and jadi lecturer di sana..so weekend senang la balik kampung kan? heheh..I love Sabah!!

That's all the journey of our life in UTM..look so simple and too short of time..BUt, fren out there..believe it or not it has been 10 years ++ and 8 years ++ for bit and me, respectively living in jb. Nampak gaya jadi johorian lah kami ni. Rumah pun dah beli di sini, keta moto suma plat nomb johor..anak pun mayb akan lahir di johor jg huuhh..never imagine these before!

Apapun, me sangat yakin dan percaya akan Firman Tuhan dalam Yer 29:11

"Sebab Aku ini mengetahui rancangan-rancangan apa yang ada pada-Ku mengenai kamu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, yaitu rancangan damai sejahtera dan bukan rancangan kecelakaan, untuk memberikan kepadamu hari depan yang penuh harapan"

Aku akan terima dengan hati yg sukacita dan bersyukur ttg apapun berkat yg Tuhan telah sediakan dan janjikan sebab semuanya adalah rancangan damai utk kehidupan kami.

Buktinya, see how wonderful and amazing God's planning in my life..Giving me a very supportive family and relatives, education, husband, career etc. Thanks Lord! Segala pujian hanya bagi-MU. Amin.

I'm no longer single at this moment onwards. Hubby is the most priority in my life right now. So, i has created a blog with a combination of our names JOHNES+MAILIN.Yeah..here it is :-)http://johnesmailin.blogspot.com. The blog was born on 01.10.2009.

I would like to dedicate this blog especially to 'abadikan' all activities and memories along the way in experiencing the daily life as a wife, daughter, eldest sister, relative, employee, friend, human being or even as a mother in future :-)
